Our Founder and CEO, Dr. Darling, regularly gives the
FAIR Foundation presentations at
high schools. The pictures below are from the Coachella Valley High
School in Thermal, California.
American government instructor and FAIR member, Jenny Braithwaite,
is seen standing
in front of her class
on the left as Dr. Darling plays the video by the American Diabetes
Association and ABC TV entitled
Disease Politics. In this scene, Hollywood actress Elizabeth Taylor
is
demanding more research
dollars for HIV/AIDS from the House of Representatives Appropriations
Subcommittee that oversees
this issue.
You may view that powerful 14 minute Disease Politics video
here.

Dr. Darling points our that HIV/AIDS has many
Hollywood celebrities, like Sharon Stone in the
picture below, raising hundreds of millions of dollars for their cause
and that most non-AIDS
illnesses do not have such support. Dr. Darling has challenged Ms. Stone
to a debate on the need
to now re-distribute a portion of HIV/AIDS research dollars to other
illnesses because of the great
drugs and
success against
HIV/AIDS. He awaits her response.

Dr. Darling also presented to the health classes
taught by Tari Gibson, RN, seen below standing
with her students. Ms. Gibson's health classes have an outstanding
record of graduating students
who have made contributions to society as nurses.

Here Ms. Gibson is joined by Mr. Higgins who brought
his health class
to join with Mr. Gibson's students in viewing Dr. Darling's FAIR presentation

In this frame from the Disease Politics video,
Hollywood actor Michael Fox asks the House
Subcommittee for more funding for his disease, Parkinson's. Mr. Fox has
since admitted in his
book that when he testified he intentionally did not take his medicines
and that he did not
notify the Subcommittee of this fact. Without his medicines, his tremors
were very visible
as you will see in the video.

John Stossel is the ABC reporter who courageously
reported on HIV/AIDS favoritism in the video
Disease Politics. Here, Dr. Darling points that out to Ms. Gibson's and
Mr. Higgins's students.
