This link shows the total deaths in 2009 to be 328. Elizabeth clarifies,
"In these tables,
deaths among persons with HIV/AIDS represent deaths attributed to any
cause among
persons reported with a diagnosis of HIV or AIDS.

Carol Bohumolski, MS: Chief,
HIV/AIDS Surveillance,
Ohio Dept. of Health. who
clarifies as follows: "The
numbers include deaths reported with HIV as the cause of death or
underlying cause as well as persons known to be HIV infected who died
from any other cause."
Carol also clarifies that these deaths are in
individuals who were residents in Ohio at
diagnosis.
