Health Assessment  Unit, WA Department of Health, P.O. Box 47838, Olympia, WA
98504. Mr. Barr states, "these statistics are based  solely on death certificate
data, and represent only those cases in which HIV or  AIDS was determined
by the physician completing the death certificate to have  been a contributing
factor in the patient's death."
